Endlich ist es soweit – die langersehnte Novelle „Fleisch mit weißer Soße“ von Christian Schmacht schafft es aus dem Druck in eure liebenden Hände und kostet, trotz Golddruck und Coverart, glatte zehn Euro! Das feiern wir mit einer magischen Releaseparty mit einer Lesung aus dem Buch (Banafshe Hourmazdi), glamourösen Drinks & äußerst verführerischen Sets von DJ Hourmazdi und kos_mic q’andi.
Alex Alvina Chamberland veredelt unseren Abend mit einem Ausschnitt aus ihrer aktuellen Novel-in-Progress.

Christian Schmacht, durch seine Skandalkolumnen für das Missy Magazine Magazine bekannt geworden, schreibt in seiner autobiografisch inspirierten Novelle über einen jungen transgender Mann, der als Frau verkleidet in den Bordellen Berlins anschafft. Er sehnt sich nach Freundschaft, Abenteuer und einer besseren Welt, aber anstatt eines dieser Projekte anzugehen, liegt er mit Depressionen zuhause und grübelt.
Fragmentarisch erzählt ein erstaunlicher Autor von Sex, Geld, Identität und der Suche nach dem Sinn. Seine Wurzeln hat der Text in einer Zine-Reihe, die Christian 2016 und 2017 monatlich publizierte.

Christian Schmacht, who has made a reputation for himself with his scandalous columns for Missy Magazine writes in his autobiographically inspired novel about a young transgender man who works in Berlin’s brothels dressed up as a woman. He is longing for friendship, adventure and a better world; but instead of addressing one of these projects, he lies at home with depressions and his thoughts.
An astonishing novelist tells us about sex, money, identity and looking for a meaning. The text is rooted in a series of zines that Christian published monthly in 2016 and 2017.
